Physical violence between warriors isn't an offense, it's exercise. Fighting and slaying enemy warriors is honorable. If you are the winner, that is. Otherwise, you will be condemned. It's proper to demand tribute from conquered peoples, so long as you extend to them your protection.
Put an Asgardian child against the strongest Midgardian (not enhanced by serums or suits of iron), and at most it’s a fair fight. Asgardians are built for battle. They’re a tough race. Any of them would lay down their lives in battle to defend the ones they love. Valhalla awaits!
There's no minimum drinking age on Asgard.
Long hair is a sign of status in Asgard. Shorn hair is a sign of servitude. Cutting a high-status person's hair that short is a means to humiliate them.
Allspeak works by manipulating what others hear. It's sort of an auditory illusion. People hear what they want to hear. Not only do the words come out in the first language (or most comfortable, perhaps?) of the listener, but the way the speakers lips appear to move adapts, too. Furthermore, if the speaker is speaking to two people whose first languages are English (say an American and an English person), certain word choices might differ, or the way they pronounce words, despite the fact that both will hear English. Hell, even people from different states within the United States would have this experience. This idea’s sort of confirmed(?) by the wiki page.
Some Asgardians learn to speak other languages, if only for the challenge. “Deigning” to learn to speak other languages impresses and honors the people who speak that language. I headcanon that the Allspeak is an ability Asgardians can control (turn on and off at will). It’s a massive tactical advantage to be able to understand your foes, but prevent them from understanding you when you so desire.
